Job summary

As a Roadside Technician with RAC, you will perform mechanical roadside repairs, diagnostics and emergency breakdown support while serving members across the UK. You’ll begin and end each day at home, working in your local area to get drivers back on the road quickly and confidently.

You’ll be equipped with your RAC van, fuel card, uniform, essential tools and diagnostic kit, and you’ll enjoy strong base pay with an OTE potential, plus benefits including a share scheme and generous holidays.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent with 2+ years' experience.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert mechanical roadside repair and vehicle diagnostics.
• Provide emergency breakdown support across the UK.
• Start and end your day at home while touring your local area to assist members.
