UniLodge Living Group in Christchurch, NZ is seeking a Night Manager to oversee all overnight operations, ensuring residents receive a consistently exceptional experience. You will handle administrative and student support tasks, fostering a safe and welcoming living environment.

You will work a rotating 40-hour schedule from 5:00 pm to 8:00 am, supervise night-front office activities, mentor residents, resolve incidents, and maintain detailed shift logs to support ongoing safety and service

Qualificações

• hands-on operational safety and incident management in a residential setting
• experience as a supervisor/manager in student accommodation or hotel front office
• enjoys nocturnal/after-hours rosters
• strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
• focus on service and delivering outstanding experiences
• willing to obtain Police Vetting Check (at your own cost)

Responsabilidades

• rotate 40-hour week across Mon-Sun with 8-hour night shifts (5:00 pm–8:00 am)
• manage and resolve issues or emergencies during duty
• represent as after-hours manager for building operations
• mentor residents; serve as contact for assistance and welfare
• assist with after-hours check-ins and customer service inquiries
• keep a detailed log of incidents and call-outs per shift
• complete back/front-office duties as handed over by the day team
• perform perimeter checks, manage quiet hours, respond to emergencies
• handle student incidents during the shift
