Job summary

Focal Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform installations across the Midlands, UK. The role involves on-the-road work and customer-site installations, with overnight components and a fixed-term 6-month contract for at least 20 hours per week.

The position requires a valid UK driving licence and the ability to meet safety KPIs, with emphasis on quick deployment and high-quality installation standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as Field Service Technician or in installation/related field.
• Proficiency with power tools and handling installation equipment.
• Physically able to work up to 9 hours and nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Install camera hardware and configure in line with company standards.
• Respond to installation requests and meet customer SLAs.
• Maintain records of installation activities, parts used and time spent.
• Onboard/scanning products into the system and operate tools safely.
