Focal Systems is seeking a Field Service Team Lead to oversee installations across the Midlands, UK. The role involves leading a team of Field Service Technicians, installing camera hardware, and ensuring projects meet quality and schedule targets.

The position is a fixed-term contract (6 months) with 30 hours per week, primarily on-site and overnight. A valid UK driving licence and reliable transport are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a field technician role, including leading or supervising others.
• Strong leadership to coordinate a small team under time pressure.
• Solid technical troubleshooting for hardware/software issues.
• Proficient with power tools and installation equipment.
• Good physical stamina for long shifts and site work.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a field service team on site.
• Install camera hardware and supervise installation by the team.
• Conduct pre-installation site checks and briefings.
• Serve as primary on-site customer contact and escalate issues to meet SLAs.
• Sign off on installations meeting quality standards and handover.
• Maintain records of installation activities and parts used.
