Job summary

Focal Systems is expanding its UK operations and seeks a dedicated Field Service Technician to complete installations for customers in your area. This role mainly involves overnight work, visiting sites where our product will be installed, and ensuring successful deployment and adoption of the system.

As a key team member, you will handle installation of camera hardware, use power tools, meet quality and speed KPIs, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Proven Field Service Technician Experience: Previous experience in a field technician role, preferably in field service, installation, construction, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Installation of camera hardware: mounting, connecting and configuring in accordance with company standards.
• Respond promptly to installation requests and ensure customer SLAs are met.
• Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent, using company-provided tools.
• Onboarding/scanning products into the system.
• Operate power tools safely and efficiently to complete installations.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks during installation visits.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of installations.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure installation tasks meet quality standards.
• Meet or exceed speed and quality KPIs consistently.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to provide updates on progress and address any issues or challenges encountered during store visits.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
