Job summary

Focal Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform installations across London, UK. The role involves on-the-road and on-site work, with a fixed-term contract of 6 months and a minimum 20 hours per week. A valid UK driving licence is required to travel to customer sites.

The ideal candidate will install camera hardware, configure systems, and ensure timely completion while meeting quality standards. Night shifts may be required, and full training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Proven field service technician experience in installations or related field.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues on-site.
• Experience using power tools and installation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install camera hardware and configure per company standards.
• Respond promptly to installation requests and meet SLAs.
• Maintain records of installation activities and time spent.
• Onboard/scanning products into the system.
• Operate power tools safely to complete installations.
• Adhere to safety protocols during installation visits.
• Collaborate with team to finish installations on time.
• Ensure installation tasks meet quality standards.
• Meet or exceed KPI targets consistently.
• Communicate progress and issues to supervisors.
