Job summary

Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa in Keswick is seeking a Night Porter to join the night team, ensuring the hotel runs safely and guests have a welcoming point of contact overnight. You will help prepare spaces for the following day and assist with setting up function rooms.

The ideal candidate is reliable, calm under pressure, with good attention to detail and basic computer skills. Prior night or hotel experience is beneficial, and flexibility to work nights and weekends is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the safety and security of the hotel throughout the night
• Providing friendly and professional assistance to guests during overnight hours
• Completing regular security checks and responding appropriately to any issues that arise
• Setting up function and conference rooms ready for the following day
• Carrying out light cleaning and ensuring public areas remain clean and presentable
• Following hotel procedures for keys and overnight operations
• Working closely with the wider hotel team to ensure a smooth handover each morning
