Job summary

The Celtic Collection is seeking a Night Front Office Agent in Newport to be the friendly face of overnight guest service. You will welcome late arrivals, assist with check-ins/early departures, and handle guest inquiries with a focus on five-star service.

You will perform nightly audits, prepare reports, and collaborate with Security and Housekeeping to maintain a safe, welcoming environment throughout the night.

• Previous experience in a hotel, customer service or front office role would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for guests throughout the night, delivering exceptional service and support.
• Welcome late arrivals and assist with overnight check-ins and early departures.
• Handle guest enquiries, requests and concerns promptly, professionally and efficiently.
• Complete nightly auditing procedures, ensuring all guest accounts, charges and financial transactions are processed accurately.
• Prepare operational reports and complete overnight administrative tasks to support the wider resort operation.
• Work closely with Security, Housekeeping and other departments to ensure a smooth and effective overnight operation.
• Monitor public areas and maintain a safe, secure and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.
• Anticipate guest needs and take every opportunity to exceed expectations.
• Ensure all overnight procedures and compliance requirements are completed to company standards.
• Deliver a smooth handover to the daytime Front Office team, ensuring the resort is ready for a successful day ahead.
