Job summary

The Celtic Collection is seeking a proven Night Manager to lead the Night Front Office team at Coldra Court Hotel in Newport. You will drive night operations in a fast-paced 4–5* environment, ensuring guest journeys are consistently exceptional and issues are resolved with precision.

Ideal candidates bring extensive night-front-office experience, strong leadership, cash handling and Opera PMS knowledge, and a calm, decisive approach under pressure.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Night Front Office or related hotel roles.
• Strong leadership to motivate and support colleagues.
• Excellent communication and guest-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Night Team to ensure exceptional guest service overnight.
• Oversee and complete all night audit procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate with Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Events during night operations.
• Prepare the hotel for the next day's arrivals, events and business needs.
• Manage room allocations, pre-arrival checks and guest billing audits.
• Handle guest enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Act as lead Fire Marshal and First Aider during shifts.
