Job summary

Celtic Manor Resort in Newport invites you to join our Night Front Office team, delivering five-star hospitality through the night shift. You will welcome guests, assist with late check-ins and handle inquiries with warmth and professionalism.

This permanent role, 30 hours per week, focuses on guest service, auditing, and smooth overnight operations. Training is provided, and you will collaborate closely with Security, Housekeeping and other departments to ensure an exceptional stay.

Qualifications

• Must have a warm, friendly and professional approach.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a night-time environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail with administrative and auditing tasks.
• Previous hotel/front office experience advantageous; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for guests throughout the night.
• Welcome late arrivals and assist with overnight check-ins and early departures.
• Handle guest enquiries, requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Complete nightly auditing procedures and process all guest accounts and transactions accurately.
• Prepare operational reports and overnight administrative tasks to support the resort.
• Collaborate with Security, Housekeeping and other departments for a smooth overnight operation.
• Monitor public areas to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.
• Deliver a seamless handover to the daytime Front Office team.
