Contract: Permanent, Part-time (13 hours per week)
Hours: Every Wednesday 8pm - 9am*
Location: Woodlands View, Woodside, Telford, TF7 5UL

About the Role

Woodlands View is a supported housing scheme in Woodside, Telford, providing accommodation and tailored support for young people aged 16 to 32 with complex needs. Our aim is to empower young residents to live independently by helping them manage their income, build essential life skills, and achieve their personal goals.

Working in partnership with Telford and Wrekin Council, we deliver a 24-hour housing service that enables young people to improve their lives and move toward greater independence.

The Night Concierge Role

As a Night Concierge, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the safety, security, and wellbeing of customers and the building during the night. Your presence helps create a calm, stable environment and ensures any incidents are managed appropriately. No two nights are the same, and your support will make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable young people.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Monitoring the safety and security of the building during night hours
  • Identifying and reporting any risks or concerns promptly
  • Responding quickly and calmly to incidents or emergencies
  • Building positive, professional relationships with customers
  • Maintaining accurate records and logging any incidents
  • Completing administrative tasks as needed
What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who:

  • Has a positive attitude and genuine desire to support vulnerable young people
  • Is calm, confident, and able to communicate effectively
  • Demonstrates inclusivity, respect, and a commitment to equality and diversity
  • Is confident overseeing site safety and following health and safety procedures
  • Can manage or de‑escape anti‑social behaviour when necessary
  • Has experience in supported housing or a similar setting (desirable but not essential)
Other Requirements
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS check
  • Must be able to work on‑site at Woodlands View, Telford
  • Interviews will take place at the scheme location

*Flexibility to cover additional shifts may be required, and we'll always aim to give as much notice as possible.
