Job summary

South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is hiring an NHS 111 Health Advisor for night shifts in Bicester. The role focuses on handling a wide range of calls, guiding callers through medical concerns with calm and clarity, and supporting patients in distress.

Full 6-week NHS Pathways training provided. Based in Bicester, on-site only, with no remote work. Applicants must be 18+ and have right to work in the UK. Salary starts at £13.17/hr with uplift bonuses.

Qualifications

• Good all-round education (2 GCSEs at grade 4+ including English) or equivalent experience.
• 18+ years old for safeguarding reasons.
• NHS Pathways trained or training provided as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• You’ll handle a huge variety of calls from health concerns to emergencies.
• You’ll guide, support and calm patients and callers, balancing empathy with assertiveness.
• Work as part of the NHS 111 team based in Bicester, with rotation as required.
