Job summary

South Central Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a part-time NHS 111 call handler based in an office setting in the United Kingdom. You will take calls from the public on health concerns, provide guidance, and triage calls from everyday questions to emergencies.

Full training is provided. No medical background is required, but you must be 18 or over and have the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Good all-round education, 2 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including English, or equivalent demonstrable experience in a similar role
• Experience in a customer or patient services environment, dealing with the general public
• Experience of using a telephone as a regular means of communication at work
• Aged 18 or over and right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship not available

Responsibilities
