A leading defense contractor in the UK is seeking a Network Security Engineer to maintain and enhance network security and manage vulnerabilities. The successful candidate will work within both Linux and Microsoft technology stacks and be responsible for a variety of security tasks including incident response and security control implementation. As the Network Security Engineer, you will have the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in a wide range of networking technologies. The Network Security Engineer will be responsible for maintaining the network security baseline and other tasks such as vulnerability management, threat detection and monitoring, incident response and security control implementation.
This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with up to 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home.
The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role. You may be required to achieve Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance once in post.
