Job Description:

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, assisting in ensuring all incidents are resolved according to procedures and meeting contractual KPIs. This role involves working on a 24/7 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

• Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
• Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
• Action Service Requests.
• Allocate/despatch tickets to support teams, field engineers, and service providers.
• Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
• Coordinate traffic management with providers, regional control, and field resources.
• Communicate with customers about network incidents.
• Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Good communication skills, able to liaise with people at all levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
