Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop common solutions, collaborating with technical experts dedicated to making a significant impact. The Network Operations Centre (NOC) Technician will support the NOC engineering team administratively, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role requires working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
2. Create incident tickets based on customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests.
4. Assign tickets to technical support, field engineers, and other service providers.
5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
6. Coordinate traffic management with relevant providers and teams.
7. Communicate with customers about network incidents.
8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power issues affecting the network.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting enterprise and service provider networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with all levels of personnel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
