Network Operations Specialist (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Nottingham

This role is with Telent, located in Nottingham, United Kingdom. It involves supporting enterprise and service provider networks within a NOC environment, working as part of a 24/7 shift rota.

Job Description:

As a Network Operations Centre (NOC) Technician, you will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in accordance with procedures and contractual KPIs. Your work will help maintain the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and security.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
2. Create incident tickets from customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests and allocate/despatch tickets to support and engineering teams.
4. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
5. Coordinate traffic management with relevant providers and teams.
6. Communicate incident updates to customers.
7. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Candidate Profile:

Previous experience supporting enterprise and service provider networks, ideally within a NOC environment. Experience with 1st line diagnostics and incident resolution. Good communication skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office are essential.
