Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex tasks that keep the nation's critical infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution according to procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:

1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
2. Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests.
4. Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
5. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
6. Organise traffic management, coordinating with providers, regional control, and field resources.
7. Communicate with customers about network incidents.
8. Coordinate with utility companies regarding power issues affecting the network.

Candidate Profile:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels of seniority.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
