Network Operations Specialist (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Wolverhampton

Be part of a high-performing team handling complex and critical work that helps maintain the nation's vital infrastructure connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring all incidents are resolved according to procedures and contractual KPIs. This role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

• Handle incoming phone calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
• Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
• Action Service Requests.
• Allocate/despatch tickets to technical support, field engineering groups, and other service providers.
• Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
• Coordinate traffic management, liaising with traffic management providers, regional control teams, and field resources.
• Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
• Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with individuals at all seniority levels.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
