Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts who take pride in their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical tasks to ensure the nation's infrastructure remains connected and protected 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician will provide administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incidents are resolved following procedures and meeting contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

• Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
• Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
• Action Service Requests.
• Allocate/despatch tickets to support and engineering teams, and other service providers.
• Manage Incident tickets with regular updates.
• Coordinate traffic management, liaising with providers, regional control, and field resources.
• Provide updates to customers regarding network incidents.
• Coordinate with utility companies during power loss issues.

Who you are:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise at all seniority levels.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
