Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent and be empowered to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts who take pride in their impactful work. The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution aligns with procedures and contractual KPIs. This role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

What you’ll do:

• Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in line with KPIs.
• Create network incident tickets from customer reports.
• Action Service Requests.
• Assign tickets to support and engineering teams, and other service providers.
• Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
• Coordinate traffic management with providers, control teams, and field resources.
• Communicate network incident updates to customers.
• Coordinate with utility companies regarding power-related network issues.

Who you are:

You have previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, preferably within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:

• Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise across all levels of seniority.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
