Overview

CNC Nesting Engineer

Days - Mon/Friday

up to £35,000 (Dependant on experience)

We are looking for a motivated Nesting Engineer to join a market leading company in their respective field. Reporting directly to the maintenance manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Responsibilities

• To create Nests for the Trumpf CNC Punching and TruBend centre machines using BOOST (Trumpf) nesting software and RADAN nesting software.
• Operation of RADAN & BOOST nesting software, ensuring that the cutting tools, machines, and other equipment are correctly configured for the nesting process, often working closely with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) operators or machine programmers.
• Understanding of drawings/technical information
• Collaboration with other teams
• Continuous Improvement of products and processes
