The role covers analysis of ship performance and support for hydrodynamic sea trials. Candidates should possess a degree in Naval Architecture and demonstrable experience in modelling and hydrodynamics. This is a permanent position offering a hybrid working model with at least one day on-site each week.

Qualifications

• Experience in ship or submarine manoeuvring modelling is essential.
• Strong analytical skills needed to succeed in this role.
• A solid understanding of hydrodynamic principles is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analysis and evaluation of ship platforms' manoeuvring performance.
• Generate Safe Manoeuvring Envelopes and provide operator guidance.
• Support and conduct hydrodynamic sea trials.

Advanced numeracy and analytical skills
