Job description

A lovely family based in Putney, London, is looking for a Live-in Nanny-Housekeeper to help them in looking after their children while maintaining the cleanliness of their home, while the children are at school. They seek someone responsible, nurturing, and able to balance childcare and household tasks effectively.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: TBC, 55 hours per week

Accommodation: TBC

Responsibilities

• engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
• encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
• providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth
• establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development
• ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence
• performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping - dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
• cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area
• washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens
• managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
• making beds and replacing linens as needed
• cleaning and organising dish ware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher

They are looking for someone who can start on the 5th of January 2026.
