A leading healthcare provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated professional to lead spiritual support for Muslim patients and staff. The role involves collaborating with a Multi-Faith Chaplaincy Team to fulfill the spiritual and cultural needs of the community. Applicants should be skilled in assessing needs and providing appropriate responses. Weekend shifts may be required, and the position is subject to a six-month probation. Main role is to lead and provide spiritual support appropriate to the needs of the Muslim patients, relatives and friends and staff.
To work collaboratively with the members of the Multi‑Faith Chaplaincy Team and Trust staff to ensure that the spiritual, pastoral, religious and cultural needs of patients, relatives and friends and staff are met according to agreed standards.
To be a religious lead for the Muslim patients, relatives and friends and staff; assess the needs and provide appropriate responses within approved resources.
To be a spiritual, pastoral, religious and cultural resource to individuals and the Trust.
Some roles may require weekend shifts at multiple sites.
Employment is subject to a six‑month probationary period.
