Job summary

A vibrant choral organization is seeking passionate Music Staff to join their Angus choir in Forfar, Scotland. The role involves teaching engaging, games-based musicianship classes using the Kodály approach and supporting young singers in their development. Ideal candidates will have training in Kodály methodology and experience working with children. This position requires a commitment to promoting choral singing and participating in concerts throughout the year. The job offers £40 per hour for up to 2 hours per week.

Join our Angus choir and be part of a vibrant musical community. You’ll deliver engaging, games-based musicianship education using the Kodály approach while supporting exciting singing rehearsals.

We’re seeking passionate Music Staff to join our Angus choir based in Forfar. This is your chance to be part of a vibrant musical community for children and young people, using the renowned Kodály approach to music education.

What you’ll do:
  • Teach engaging, games-based musicianship classes using the Kodály methodology
  • Support singing rehearsals with age-appropriate repertoire
  • Help young singers progress through Bronze, Silver, and Gold Award certifications
  • Contribute to exciting Winter and Summer showcase concerts
What we’re looking for:

Hours:

Thursday evenings, up to 2 hours per week for 26 weeks during term time, plus concerts.
