Job summary

HVAC Recruitment Limited is seeking a Multiskilled Mobile Supervisor to oversee a portfolio of around 36 sites across London and the M25. The role combines field leadership with hands-on M&E work, ideal for engineers who enjoy being on-site while guiding a team.

You will supervise about 6 mobile engineers, travel between sites, perform PPMs and reactive maintenance, and build strong client relationships with high-end residential and retail sites.

Multiskilled Mobile Supervisor

Location: Central London & M25
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

We are looking for an experienced Multiskilled Mobile Supervisor to join a well-established building services company, overseeing a portfolio of approximately 36 sites across London and within the M25.

This is a hands-on supervisory position, ideal for an experienced Multiskilled Engineer, Lead Engineer or Supervisor who enjoys being out on the tools while also managing engineers and dealing directly with clients.

The Role

• Overseeing a team of approximately 6 mobile engineers
• Around 70% hands-on, travelling between sites and supporting the engineering team
• Carrying out PPMs, reactive maintenance, fault finding and general M&E maintenance when required
• Completing site visits, engineer spot checks and ensuring works are completed to a high standard
• Covering mainly high-end residential properties, with some retail sites
• Building strong relationships with clients and identifying additional works and new business opportunities
• Managing basic compliance including logbooks, SLAs and audits
• Escorting and liaising with subcontractors for reactive works and specialist PPMs
• Providing engineering cover when members of the team are absent

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Multiskilled Engineer, Lead Engineer, Mobile Supervisor or similar
• Strong hands-on building services maintenance experience
• Experience across mechanical, electrical and/or plumbing services
• Relevant qualifications are beneficial, although time-served engineers with strong multiskilled experience will be considered
• Previous experience supervising or supporting engineers
• Confident dealing directly with clients
• Proactive, reliable and willing to get stuck in and support the team
• Strong attitude and good communication skills

Package

• £50,000 – £55,000 DOE
• Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Some flexibility around working hours
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing after 1 year
• Zones 1 & 2 travel paid
• Mobile role – foot or van depending on requirements
• Overtime available – weekends paid at 1.5x
