Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Mobile M&E Supervisor to oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance across commercial properties. You will lead a team of technicians, ensure PPM tasks are completed on time and within SLA targets, and manage reactive work efficiently.

The role requires knowledge of commercial and domestic systems, familiarity with PPM standards such as SFG20, strong fault-finding skills, and City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Mobile M&E Supervisor to oversee the delivery of mechanical and electrical maintenance services across a portfolio of commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

As our Mobile M&E Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and inspire a team of 3 technicians, ensuring excellent service delivery across all operations
• Manage Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), ensuring tasks are completed on time and in line with SLA targets
• Maintain a manageable backlog of PPM tasks and ensure all reactive work is completed within acceptable timescales
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams to maintain clear communication and address any concerns or issues
• Attend client calls and meetings where required ensuring all follow-up actions are completed promptly
• Provide first-line management by conducting performance reviews, setting clear team objectives, and supporting individual development
• Carry out risk assessments, site log book and safety audits in compliance with safety legislation and company procedures

We're looking for a Mobile M&E Supervisor with a strong background in commercial building services and facilities maintenance.

You’ll ideally have:

• Strong knowledge of both commercial and domestic systems
• Ability to carry out PPMs to SFG20 or equivalent standards
• Advanced fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications (City & Guilds or equivalent)
• Experience supervising reactive repairs and managing small projects
