HVAC Recruitment Limited is seeking a Mobile M&E Engineer to cover Central London and the M25. The role is a hands-on maintenance position for a well-established building services company with a portfolio of high-end residential properties and retail sites.

You'll perform PPM and reactive maintenance on AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, valves; electrical fault finding; basic plumbing. Electrical qualifications are essential; multiskilled candidates encouraged.

Mobile M&E Engineer

Location: Central London & M25
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

We are looking for an experienced Mobile M&EEngineer to join a well-established building services company, covering a portfolio of mainly high-end residential properties and retail sites across Central London and within the M25.

This is a hands-on maintenance role suited to an engineer with a strong mechanical, plumbing or general building services background. Electrical qualifications are essential for this role– however we are looking for someone genuinely multiskilled who is confident fault finding and getting stuck into a variety of maintenance tasks.

The Role

• PPM and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of sites
• Initial fault finding, diagnostics and minor repairs
• Mechanical maintenance across AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, valves and general HVAC plant
• Electrical fault finding, lighting and general electrical maintenance
• Basic plumbing including leaks, taps, blockages and associated repairs
• Identifying faults and escalating specialist works where required
• Escorting subcontractors attending for reactive works and specialist PPMs
• Working directly with clients and providing a professional service across each site
• Supporting the wider engineering team when required

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience within commercial building services / facilities maintenance
• Strong multiskilled maintenance experience
• Electrical qualifications are essential
• Good mechanical and general building services knowledge
• Confident carrying out first-line fault finding and repairs
• Proactive, reliable and happy to get stuck in
• Good communication skills and comfortable dealing directly with clients
• Most importantly, a good attitude and team-focused approach

Package

• £45,000 – £50,000 DOE
• Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
• Some flexibility around working hours
• Mobile role – foot or van depending on requirements
• Zones 1 & 2 travel paid
• 20 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing to 23 days after 1 year
• Overtime available – weekends paid at 1.5x
• No mandatory call-out – optional 1 in 6 rota
