Meridian Business Support Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor for a mobile role across East London and Essex. You’ll oversee a team of engineers, coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, and ensure safe, compliant operation. A van, fuel card and tools are supplied.

Hours are Monday to Friday 8:00–17:00 with overtime opportunities and on-call payments. Full training is funded, including IOSH, IPAF, PASMA and management programmes, with a clear path into management.

Qualificações

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning 6187 or equivalent.
• Electrical qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
• Experience supervising engineers and coordinating maintenance.

Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor – FM Service Provider

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join a leading commercial FM service provider, covering a cluster of sites across East London and Essex. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of mechanical and general building services across multiple sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The role will involve supervising a team of engineers, coordinating planned and reactive maintenance, managing specialist contractors, and ensuring statutory compliance and health and safety standards are consistently maintained. You will also work closely with the client and key stakeholders to support the smooth day-to-day operation of each site.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Pay

• £48,500 per annum
• Regular overtime opportunities at x1.5 and x2, plus on-call payments every 1 in 6 weeks
• Travel time paid after 45 minutes
• Fully funded training available, including IOSH, IPAF, PASMA and management programmes

Requirements

You will hold current mechanical qualifications, such as:

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning 6187, or a similar relevant qualification
• Electrical qualifications would be beneficial, but are not essential
• Strong experience across mechanical building services, including service, repair and installation
• Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience maintaining and repairing mechanical systems, heating systems and ventilation systems
• Previous experience supervising or supporting a large team of engineers with varying levels of experience
