Zusammenfassung

Thames Water Utilities Limited in Ashford is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join our Asset Operations & Capital Delivery team. The role focuses on inspecting, maintaining, fault diagnosing, testing, installing, modifying or repairing mechanical and electrical plant across our sites to keep operations safe and compliant.

You will work 38 hours Mon-Fri 7:30 to 15:36, with a competitive salary up to £45,000 plus benefits.

Qualifikationen

Time-served apprenticeship with experience in electrical systems.
Upskilled with mechanical qualification for inspecting and repairing electromechanical plant.
Willing to develop dual-skilled status if required.
Knowledge of health and safety issues is crucial.
Valid driving license and provided equipment.

Aufgaben

Carry out scheduled maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
Investigate plant failures and perform repairs to minimize interruptions.
Provide technical advice and training to trainees as required.
Work on pumps, motors, control gear, VSDs, valves, PLCs, sensors and associated equipment.
Participate in standby rota after training.
