Pertemps Thames Water is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Technician for a site-based role in Bourne End. You will inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify and repair mechanical and electrical plant equipment to keep water production facilities operational with minimal supervision.

The role offers a 38-hour week, a standby rota, and potential overtime to increase earnings, with a competitive benefits package and relocation of PPE and tools provided.

Formación

• Time-served apprentice with significant experience in electrical systems working in a multi-skilled capacity.
• Ability to inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair mechanical and electrical plant equipment safely.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out scheduled planned maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Investigate plant failures and carry out repairs quickly and efficiently.
• Diagnose complex faults and carry out repairs during incidents.
• Provide technical advice and support for trainees as required.
• Standby rota participation and overtime opportunities.
