Pertemps Thames Water is seeking a skilled Mechanical & Electrical Technician to maintain and repair plant equipment at our Latton site near Cirencester. The role focuses on safe, efficient maintenance and fault diagnosis to ensure customers experience minimal disruption.

You will work on pumps, motors, control gear, VSDs, PLCs and related systems, with training provided and a standby rota after onboarding. Competitive salary up to £45,000 per year, depending on experience.

Formación

• Time-served apprentice with significant electrical experience in a multi-skilled role.
• Upskilled with mechanical qualification to inspect and repair electrical and mechanical plant.
• Awareness of health and safety requirements and safe working practices.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out scheduled maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Investigate plant failures and carry out repairs quickly to prevent downtime.
• Diagnose complex faults and repair during incidents.
• Provide technical advice and training to trainees when required.
• Work on pumps, motors, control gear, VSDs, PLCs and related equipment.
• Participate in standby rota after training.
