Thames Water seeks a Mechanical & Electrical Technician to maintain and repair plant equipment at the Wargrave Sewage Treatment site (RG10 8DJ). The role requires time-served electrical/mechanical skills, with a view to inspect, diagnose faults, and service critical systems, including pumps, motors and PLCs.

You will work 38 hours Monday to Friday, with standby rota payments and potential overtime, and you will be provided PPE and a van on duty.

Competenze

• Electrical apprenticeship and related qualifications required.
• Experience inspecting, maintaining, fault diagnosing, testing, installing and repairing mechanical and electrical plant.
• Ability to work with pumps, motors, control gear and PLCs, in confined spaces with appropriate training.

Mansioni

• Carry out scheduled maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Investigate plant failures and perform rapid repairs to avoid process interruptions.
• Provide technical advice and training support for technicians.
