Thames Water is recruiting a Mechanical & Electrical Technician for Didcot STW. You will inspect, maintain, diagnose faults, test, install, modify or repair mechanical and electrical plant, with safety and efficiency at the forefront.

Base location is Didcot, 38-hour week with standby rota and overtime opportunities. Company training can boost earnings and you’ll receive PPE, a van and fuel card.

Formación

• Time-served apprenticeship with electrical experience.
• Upskilled with mechanical NVQ2/3 preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Ability to work in a true multi-skilled capacity.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out scheduled maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to minimise breakdowns.
• Investigate plant failures and carry out repairs quickly during incidents.
• Provide technical advice and training for trainees.
• Work on pumps, motors, control gear, VSDs, PLCs, and related equipment.
• Participate in standby rota following training.
