Job summary

Thames Water requires an experienced Electrical Technician for our Chieveley Sewage Treatment Works in RG20 8TY. You will inspect, maintain and repair plant, fault-find from alarms, install or modify equipment, all with minimal supervision to keep sites operational.

Base location is Chieveley STW; 38 hours per week, Mon–Fri. Salary up to £42,000 with benefits including pension, health schemes and cycle-to-work options.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprentice with experience in mechanical/electrical systems.
• 18th Edition preferred; training can be given.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair mechanical and electrical plant.
• Respond to alarms and fault-find to identify issues.
• Record work and asset information and raise risks for resolution.
• Provide technical advice and coach staff as required.
