Thames Water are seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join the Maple Lodge STW team. You will inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair mechanical and electrical plant with minimal supervision to keep sites operational for customers.

Expect to work 38 hours Mon-Fri 7:30 am–3:36 pm. Benefits include competitive salary up to £45,000, standby/overtime potential, generous pension, holidays and wellbeing schemes.

Qualifications

• Time-served apprentice with significant experience in electrical systems (multi-skilled).
• Upskilled with mechanical qualification to inspect, maintain and repair electrical & mechanical plant.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned maintenance on mechanical & electrical equipment.
• Investigate plant failures and diagnose faults to prevent process interruptions.
• Provide technical advice and training to trainees when required.
• Work on pumps, control gear, 3-phase motors, starters and PLCs.
• Participate in standby rota after training.
