Multiskilled HVAC/Plumbing Engineer

Employment Type: Ongoing Contract / Temp-to-Perm (adjust as needed)

Our client is a leading facilities management provider, and we are supporting them in the recruitment of a Multiskilled HVAC/Plumbing Engineer to join their engineering team. This role offers a mix of reactive and planned maintenance across a busy, modern site, with the opportunity to support neighbouring locations when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out mechanical remedial works across a range of M&E building services.
  • Attend site to diagnose and rectify mechanical/HVAC-related faults.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with the client's schedules and industry standards.
  • Ensure all PPM and reactive tasks are completed to a high, professional standard.
  • Produce accurate technical and situational reports when required.
  • Utilise the client's CAFM/technology systems to maintain compliance and accurate records.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with on-site teams and client representatives.
  • Attend team briefings and meetings as required by the client.
  • Uphold the client's professional image at all times.
  • Escalate any major issues or incidents to the relevant manager promptly.
  • Work safely and in compliance with all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Experienced in HVAC and plumbing within a facilities, building services, or industrial environment.
  • Strong mechanical fault‑finding skills.
  • Confident working independently across a busy, fast‑paced site.
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
  • Strong understanding of PPM practices and compliance requirements.
