Zusammenfassung

Thames Water is hiring Mechanical & Electrical Technicians for Maple Lodge STW in Rickmansworth. You will inspect, maintain, fault-diagnose, test, install and repair mechanical and electrical plant with safety and efficiency in mind.

This role operates a 38-hour week (7:30 am – 3:36 pm) with a standby rota and a comprehensive benefits package including a pension, generous annual leave, and other health & wellbeing perks.

Qualifikationen

• You must have completed a time-served apprenticeship in electrical engineering with multi-skilled capability.
• Upskilling with a mechanical qualification is essential to inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair equipment.
• Candidates with sole electrical or mechanical experience should be developed towards dual-skilled status.

Aufgaben

• Carry out scheduled planned maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment according to procedures.
• Investigate plant failures and perform repairs to minimise process interruptions.
• Provide technical advice and training support for technical trainees if required.
• Work on pumps, control gear, motors, VSDs, valves, sensors and PLCs.
• Participate in standby rota after relevant training.
