Job summary

mydentist is seeking a Designate Practice Manager to provide ad hoc support across multiple locations in the Midlands and beyond. This full-time, permanent role involves leading a team of practice staff, meeting financial targets, and maintaining exceptional patient care.

You’ll be responsible for budgets, regulatory compliance, and collaboration withself-employed clinicians, ensuring the practice delivers high standards while supporting colleagues across the network.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a dental practice or healthcare team.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to read P&L and manage budgets.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive practice performance with clear objectives, including patient care standards and financial targets.
• Lead a team of practice staff and clinicians, managing contractual relationships where applicable.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain high standards of clinical governance.
• Interpret financial data to make informed commercial decisions for the practice.

As a Practice Manager, you’ll be:

• Driving your practice’s performance with set objectives, including providing outstanding patient care, meeting financial targets, and managing budgets
• Leading a team of practice support employees, including dental nurses and receptionists, and engaging with self-employed clinicians whilst you manage the contractual relationship
• Managing compliance and meeting the requirements of our regulators
• Interpreting financial data including profit and loss accounts to make commercial decisions
