Job summary

mydentist is seeking an Assistant Practice Manager for our Holderness Road Practice in Hull HU9 3LP. This permanent full-time role supports the Practice Manager in day-to-day management of a busy 10-surgery clinic, with mentoring to enable you to take over when ready.

As part of the UK’s leading dental network, you’ll be trusted to make decisions with patients at heart, backed by our investments in practices and people.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior position that required mentoring or supervisory duties.
• Commercial acumen including business development experience.
• Retail, hospitality or events experience would be ideal.
• A drive to learn and develop their career.

Responsibilities

• Driving practice performance with set objectives, including delivering outstanding patient care, meeting financial targets, and managing budgets.
• Leading a team of practice support staff, including dental nurses and receptionists, and engaging with self-employed clinicians whilst managing contractual relationships.
• Managing compliance and meeting regulator requirements.
• Interpreting financial data including profit and loss to make commercial decisions.

Your future, as an Assistant Practice Manager at mydentist You’ll be joining our Holderness Road Practice in Hull HU9 3LP as an Assistant Manager on a permanent full time basis. This role will be to support the Manager in day to day management of a busy 10 Surgery practice. You will learn every aspect of the role to be able to take over your own Practice.
