Multi-Trade Operative

Hindle House - Banbury

£36,095 - £37,994 per year

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:30pm

We have an opportunity for a Multi-Trade Operative to join our Voids team, based in Banbury. In this role you will be responsible for carrying out general repairs to both void and tenanted properties. The role will include both team and lone working. We are looking for a team player with experience in a previous trade role.

The role of Multi-Trade Operative will include:

  • Attending properties to carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties
  • Resolving problems or setting into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
  • Maintaining a suitable van stock level and restocking these when needed
  • Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer

Skills and experiences:

  • To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical. If Plumbing Level 3 is required, Unvented - G3 Certificate and Water Regulations (WRAS). As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
  • Experience in working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
  • Skills in some of the following disciplines – Plumbing, Plastering, Carpentry and Joinery, kitchen and bathroom installations, UPVC door and window fitting
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
