A healthcare facility in Chesterfield is seeking a Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join their estates team. The successful candidate will work primarily in the mechanical workshop, handling maintenance tasks. Applicants should have an NVQ3 in Plumbing/Heating and experience in managing trades staff. The role includes working on an on-call rota with an attractive benefits package including a pension scheme and generous annual leave.
The closing date is 12 October 2025. We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join the Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services Ltd estates team to work within our mechanical team in the estates workshop. The workshop provides a maintenance service to Chesterfield Royal Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and external clients. You will demonstrate strong team working skills; have good experience of working in a maintenance role and be comfortable working to targets and on your own. The post-holder will be required to work on the tradesperson on-call rota for which additional payments will be made on top of the stated salary. The post-holder will be required to support the building and electrical workshops as required and within the capabilities of their skills.
Benefits include Nest Pension with up to 8% employer contributions and up to 33 days annual leave per year (plus bank holidays).
