Job description

A new opportunity is available for a multi-skilled technician / tradesperson to operate across the Yorkshire region within the aftercare team for a leading main contractor.

The role will play a vital role in ensuring projects are successfully closed out and clients remain satisfied long after project handover. You'll be responsible for investigating and resolving post-handover issues on-site, carrying out remedial works where possible, and coordinating subcontractors and suppliers to deliver high‑quality solutions efficiently.

This will be across a range of project types including Education, healthcare facilities, heritage projects and commercial buildings, providing you with plenty of variation.

Requirements
  • Have the ability to undertake minor works directly where practical, liaise with construction teams and sub‑contractors to arrange larger or specialist works.
  • Be comfortable in assessing reported defects and decide appropriate remedial actions.
  • Hold construction‑relevant trade or technical qualification.
  • Hold valid construction certification including, CSCS Card, SSSTS (Desirable), PASMA / IPAF (Desirable).
  • Have a full UK Full Driving Licence.
  • IT literate and comfortable using laptop, tablet, phone and relevant software, so as to accurately log all work undertaken and maintain records for sign off.
