Job summary

Alkegen UK operates a multi-site IT function with a focus on desktop and networking support. The role involves responding to incidents, resolving issues, and supporting IT infrastructure initiatives from Rainford and other locations.

Based primarily at the Rainford site, you will travel occasionally between sites and support on-site users while collaborating with a wider IT team to implement projects and improvements.

Qualifications

• Higher education qualification or equivalent experience.
• Broad networking expertise across multi-site environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls, cloud platforms and backups.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and networking support across multiple locations.
• Own first-line response to incidents; diagnose and resolve issues.
• Assist deployment and support of IT Infrastructure and Operations initiatives.
