Job summary

Alkegen is seeking an IT Support professional based at Rainford to deliver desktop and networking support across multiple sites. You will take first line ownership, respond to issues, and help implement IT infrastructure initiatives.

The role requires in-office attendance four days a week (Mon-Thu) with Friday as work-from-home, and regular travel between sites. Valid driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Higher education qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong networking knowledge across multiple sites.
• Broad expertise in Windows Server, M365, networking, firewalls, cloud and backup.
• Experience configuring network switches and access points is desirable.
• Strong self-management, organisation and team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and networking support across multiple locations.
• Take first line ownership to respond to and resolve issues.
• Assist in deployment and support of IT infrastructure and operations initiatives.
