Job summary

PEN Group is seeking an Infrastructure Technician to maintain and support its core IT infrastructure across multiple UK sites. The role involves regular travel between sites to install, audit, and improve systems, working with the Infrastructure & Cloud Team to ensure security, reliability, and compliance.

The technician will manage network infrastructure, Intune deployments, Azure AD, and hardware lifecycle while contributing to security and project initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of network fundamentals including VLANs, switching, Wi‑Fi, routing and cabling.
• Experience with enterprise tools: Intune, Azure AD/Entra ID, M365 admin.
• Windows environment experience with device provisioning and imaging.
• Experience with CCTV and network cabinets.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Network & infrastructure maintenance across multiple sites including switches, Wi‑Fi, routers, firewalls, and patch cabinets.
• Support Intune deployments, enrolments, policies, and device configurations; assist with Azure AD tasks.
• Deploy and manage hardware like laptops, printers, VoIP phones, and classroom AV equipment; lifecycle management.
