Job summary

North East Combined Authority is seeking an IT Technician to join the IT Team at Wellfield School, with responsibilities spanning the Trust's primary schools. The role involves supporting day-to-day IT operations, resolving issues, and ensuring high-quality service across sites.

Based at Wellfield School, the successful candidate will travel between sites, providing timely technical support to staff and students.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, or able to demonstrate suitable experience providing first-line technical support.
• Strong IT problem-solving and communication skills essential for staff support.
• Willingness to travel between sites within the Trust is required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation of IT systems across Wellfield School and Trust sites.
• Process, resolve, and update IT issues; maintain both administrative and curriculum networks.
• Provide timely and effective technical support to staff and students; assist with wireless network configuration.
