Job summary

BSW Group is seeking an IT Infrastructure Support Technician based in Stoke-on-Trent to provide frontline IT support across group sites. This onsite role covers hardware, software, networking and Office 365 support, with a focus on customer service and clear communication.

You will monitor backups, assist in configuring networking equipment, onboard new users and maintain an up-to-date asset register. A UK driving licence and willingness to travel to group sites are required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (installation, configuration, troubleshooting).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 support.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
• A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to group sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st line IT support via helpdesk; prioritise and resolve requests within SLAs.
• Support across all group sites; troubleshoot hardware/software issues; assist with Office 365 apps.
• Respond to system alerts; elevate issues when necessary.
• Monitor and maintain backup systems across the business.
• Assist in installation and configuration of networking infrastructure and IT equipment.
• Configure and maintain computers, tablets and mobile devices; onboarding and offboarding of users.
