Purpose of Job

Looking for PAs to allow access to the community to support with day-to-day living and to assist with undertaking activities.

Hours of Work

30 hours between two PAs. 2:1 support in the community. Weekend work included.

Rates of Pay

£13 per hour plus 40p per mile where applicable.

Tasks Involved
  • Taking the candidate out into the community and supporting with day‑to‑day tasks.
  • Changing the candidate as they are incontinent.
  • Going swimming, to the park or to a trampoline park.
  • Taking the candidate out for food.

  • A kind and friendly person.
  • Someone who is punctual and reliable.
  • A patient person willing to build rapport.
About the Job

Though a part‑time role, a National Insurance number is required. A trial period will be necessary initially. Wage will be paid monthly with appropriate holiday pay.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check, which will be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this check will be met by the employer (Local Authority). Relevant checks will be carried out to confirm the applicant’s right to work in the UK.
